New York City FIRST Science and Technology College & Career Expo

As part of the New York City FIRST Mega-Celebration on April 4-6, 2014,  the 8th Annual New York City FIRST Science and Technology College & Career Expo provided prospective college students, parents and interested individuals with the opportunity to talk to college representatives about their respective programs and scholarships as well as Fortune 500 companies and professional associations about careers in science and technology.

The New York City FIRST Science and Technology College Expo took place on Friday, April 4 (12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.) and Saturday, April 5 (11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.).   The following colleges and universities who participated in the College Expo are among the 150 colleges and universities, professional associations and corporations who provide over $16 million in scholarships to students who are members of a FIRST team:

The New York City FIRST Career Expo was held on Sunday, April 6 (10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.).  In addition to being generous sponsors of FIRST, many of the companies at the Career Expo provide mentors to our teams and volunteers for our Mega-Celebration.  The Career Expo provided attendees with an inside look into the real world applications of science and technology in the business world as well as a better understanding of potential careers and opportunities.  Companies and Organizations who participated in this year’s Career Expo include:
