College & Career Expo
New York City FIRST Science and Technology College & Career Expo
As part of the New York City FIRST Mega-Celebration on March 7-9, 2013, the 7th Annual New York City FIRST Science and Technology College & Career Expo provides prospective college students, parents and interested individuals with the opportunity to talk to college representatives about their respective programs and scholarships as well as Fortune 500 companies and professional associations about careers in science and technology.
The following colleges and universities will be participating in the New York City FIRST Science and Technology College Expo on Thursday, March 7 (12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.) and Friday, March 8 (11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.). These schools are among the 150 colleges and universities, professional associations and corporations who provide over $16 million in scholarships to students who are members of a FIRST team.

The New York City FIRST Career Expo will be held on Saturday, March 9 (10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.). In addition to being generous sponsors of FIRST, many of the companies at the Career Expo provide mentors to our teams and volunteers for our Mega-Celebration. The Career Expo provides attendees with an inside look into the real world applications of science and technology in the business world as well as a better understanding of potential careers and opportunities.
