NYC FIRST, a leading STEM education organization, is thrilled to partner with the NYC DOE to launch Gotham Tech to reimagine high school, and prepare students for success in college and career, in a close-knit community.
Gotham Tech (30Q417) has been designed by leading educators and NYC FIRST, which has run some of the most popular robotics and STEM education programs in New York City for over 20 years, broadening access to joyful and engaging programs that have helped thousands of young New Yorkers each year to innovate, solve problems creatively, think critically and persevere.
Gotham Tech will initially be located at 28-01 41st Ave, near Queens Plaza, and accessible by the E, F, G, M, N, R, W and 7 subway lines. After three years, it will move to a newly constructed state-of-the-art building in Woodside, Queens.
We are thrilled to welcome CherylAnn Gill as Gotham Tech's Project Director. Cheryl brings a passion for joyful learning, equity, and impact to this important role.
