MATERIAL FAMILY
Sheet good
Engineered wood sheet made from wood fibre and binder. Porous and easy to machine, but produces very fine persistent dust and can release binder vapour when heated.

Material notes
Use HEPA-rated extraction. Clear unnecessary people from the room during dusty work. Mechanical cutting and sanding require P100 respiratory protection; laser cutting can produce heavy smoke and requires effective exhaust.
